Private residence interior decor and styling upgrade, London
Private London Residence: the brief
Transform a 4-bedroom detached rental property, situated in an affluent suburb of London, into a loving homely environment for the client and her two children. The client had recently moved into the new property and expressed concerns about it lacking soul and feeling like an incomplete hotel void of decorative finishes and looking clinical. With the client having such a strong personality, she wanted her new home to have character and be reflective of her and her family’s personalities.
As the home was a rental property, it was already partly furnished, albeit with dated furniture that was not in keeping with the style of the property. The client’s brief required that the existing furniture be incorporated into the interior design of the property and therefore, the design elements were limited to the provision of accent furniture, soft furnishings, decorative finishes, accessories and spatial planning where necessary.
